The Freedom Mercantile & Cafe serves homestyle food in a unique General store setting where you can also shop our gift, grocery and hardware options.
At various times during the year, this area offers rodeos, snake hunts, sand dunes, camping, fishing, and hunting.
We have several state parks in our area, Boiling Springs, Alabaster Caverns and Little Sahara, and the Glass Mountains near Fairview are not far away. Museums are also available in this area. Lodging is available at The Stables Lodge located at the entrance of the Alabaster Caverns State Park 6 miles from Freedom and hotels are also available in nearby Alva and Woodward.
