The Smoky Hill Run can be reached by either Hays or Salina KS. From Hays take 183 north to Plainville. Jump on Hwy 18 to Lucas KS and head south on Hwy 232 which leads to Lake Wilson. South of the lake you can either jump on I-70 if your in a hurry or Hwy 40 which is a two lane state hwy. This scenic route will take you back in time as you travel through old western towns of Kansas. Hills, small streams, farm land and prairie help make this a fun and relaxing ride.
