Otay Lakes Road is a great way to start your day ride if you are in the Southern San Diego area. This road connects with Highway 94 which is a great route in itself. Otay Lakes Road is an 8.1 mile ride that has sweeping turns following next to Otay Lakes in Chula Vista, CA. The roadway can be slightly congested during rush hour traffic times. The roadway is fairly decent and I give this ride a 1/5 in terms of difficulty. Combining Otay Lakes Road with Highway 94 is the perfect match for a great day ride.
