Starting in Ventura, CA, Maricopa Highway takes you on a 70 mile journey that will blow you away. The roadway is a bit challenging with a great reward of beauty and fun. I would rate this road a 4/5 in terms of difficulty so please use caution. This route will give you breathtaking photograph opportunities and I believe it’s very underrated. You will want to give yourself some extra time to stop and take in the sights. The 70 miles takes you approximately 90 minutes to complete. This would make for a great day trip if you visit the Ventura area of California.
