Klamath River Highway is located in northern California, but it reminds me of riding in the back hills of Montana. The road provides a winding road experience as you travel next to the second longest river in California. Overall, I would give this road a 3/5 difficulty as the nicely paved roads are inviting some to push their limits. The beautiful scenery will keep you engaged throughout the ride. This route takes approximately 1.5 hours to complete and is roughly 63 miles long. I would highly recommend this route if you’re traveling north through California.
