Johnny’s Bar & Grill, a historical spot that started serving the public in 1946. On the Fourth of July weekend of 1947, the Boozefighters landed in Hollister for the legendary Gypsy Tour race and turned the little town, including Johnny’s Bar & Grill, upside down. This famous biker event inspired the 1953 classic “The Wild One.”
Ever since, Johnny’s Bar & Grill has served as a favorite gathering spot for bikers on Fourth of July weekends. However, Johnny attracts plenty of visitors on any day of the year thanks to its authentic vibe and solid biker’s food offerings. Johnny’s menu features breakfast combos, classic appetizers like chicken wings and onion rings, and a wide selection of signature drinks.
On Thursday and Friday nights, Johnny’s hosts events that include bingo, darts, and karaoke. Happy hour starts every day at 4 p.m.
