The Crawford Notch State Park is another NH staple. It easily connects to the Franconia State Park making it an easy loop to see both notches. The Crawford Notch features NH’s alpine White Mountain views (Mt. Washington, Mt. Adams, etc…) which are beautiful in both the summer & fall. There are great restaurants between the notches which make for a nice day of sightseeing. This route is slightly less busy than the Franconia Notch but in the summertime, there are a lot of hikers & parked cars on the sides of the road. If you want to see the NH White Mountains without hiking this is the route to do it.
