Total ride from the Cherohala Skyway visitor center to Franklin, NC via the Moonshiner 28 will take just over 3 hours without stops. Wide sweeping turns overlooking both North Carolina and Tennessee down to Lake Santeetlah and the Fontana Dam. Plenty of places to stop and grab lunch before you enter the Skyway and after you join up with the Moonshiner 28.
