California Highway 36 is 140 miles of twisting and winding roads that takes you through over 1900 corners. It is known to be one of the longest twisting roads in the state with unbelievable views. I would give this route a 3/5 difficulty rating based on the endurance it takes to complete the ride. The ride itself has the feeling of LoLo Pass and Avenue of the Giants combined. This is a ride that you don’t want to pass up if you are ever in the northern California area. The roadway conditions are very well maintained with good traction.
