In June of 2023, my parents, my wife and I took two Harley touring bikes to Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur Mexico. Our ride was amazing. Some good roads, some bad roads, and some frame deep sand. Nothing more exciting than deep sand on a Glide! We all made it home in one piece and never had to use our spare gallon of gas.
How are the roads in Baja Mexico?
The entire trip the worst asphalt was I-40 between Kingman and Flagstaff, AZ.

Road construction in the Baja is a bit different than the US. Instead of closing one lane, they close the road and force you onto the shoulder. Go slow as there are spots of deep sand and potholes.
