Acadia National Park

5.0/ 5

Acadia National Park is one sight that is a must-see on a motorcycle. During the summer months, it is very busy. The trip we took from NH was a six-hour drive to the national park on the motorcycles. We stayed just outside of Bar Harbor in an Airbnb. We spent three days riding & visiting the area. Great food & views with lots of local shops, bars, breweries & restaurants. We woke up very early to see the sunrise on Cadilac Mountain (pass required, can be purchased online) which was so worth the early morning. After that, we made the early morning park loop on the motorcycles, stopping & seeing all of the popular tourist sites (Otter Peaks, Thunder Hole, site seeing stops, etc..). There was no one on the road that early in the morning & we had the park all to ourselves driving around the beautiful parkway. We highly recommend getting up early to watch the sunrise & take in the views with just you, the bike & the beautiful coast.
