The Iron Horse is a great Biker Bar and must stop location if you are out riding. The service is always great, whether you are solo or on a run with 100+ bikes. Sit on the patio out front or the small fenced in area in the back.
How can you resist saying you have been to hell and back! The Saloon is a fun stop and the ride in offer great roads with twists. The food and service is solid. It can get a little packed on a busy summer day. Make sure to visit the store next to the Saloon, if you are a Veteran, mention that for a gift.
The Tunnel of trees is a great ride year round. If you continue North along 119 you will end up in Mackinaw City. Legs Inn in Cross Village is a must stop for a meal or a drink. Make sure you go out back for a nice view of Lake Michigan.
I find myself in or near Milwaukee a few times a year and I always go to the museum. The staff in the museum are all great. If you have time, take one of the tours so that you van see the collection of bikes that are not on display. I believe you have to book that tour in advance. If you are a HOG member, you get free admission and a pin. After you hit the museum you have to stop by the HD store. They have items there that you can not get anywhere else.
I spotted at Doc's not knowing the history and all the dealership has to offer. A Harley dealer, restaurant, museum, and a zoo! This can easily turn into a muti hour stop. On top of all that, I thought the prices on some very cool used bikes were extremely buyer friendly.
