For many years, Gio’s was a staple on Williamson Road here in Roanoke, Va. Jeff grew up in his dad’s dealership watching Roger Glass, or “Gov” to those who knew him best, as he sold Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Ducati, Triumph, BWM, BSA, Norton, and Suzuki. Not only did Jeff learn as much as possible about sales and service for each brand, but Gov also instilled a deep love for riding inside him. After Geo’s, Jeff turned his attention to a liquidation business of parts. In 2012, he started a small, part-time business selling these parts on Ebay with just a few employees. Kris Simko quickly became his Swiss army knife employee and started filling every role possible to help him grow the business. In 2019, Jeff decided to make this his full-time job and grow the business as much as possible. Simko became the Shop Manager and the expansion began.
We started in a small, 4500 sq ft warehouse, but that was quickly outgrown. So many of our customers began to ask for a local, brick and mortar store to fill this area’s need for off-road parts and accessories. In March 2021, we moved the entire business from 3 small locations into our current location at 3125 Salem Turnpike NW Roanoke, VA 24017. We opened a full retail store that allows us to offer products from WPS, Parts Unlimited, Tucker Rocky, Super ATV, Slick Products, Gator Waders, 5150 Whips, Force Turbo, Keep Smiling Powersports, Heretic Studios, Rocky Mountain ATV, Aftermarket Assassins, Mid-USA, and Wheel Pros. During this transition, we moved into Amazon sales while still expanding our already extensive Ebay inventory. Local customers can now browse through the retail store, our “Black Room” of deeply discounted riding apparel, as well as a 12,000 sq ft indoor yard sale room full of parts and accessories.
As we look to the future, you will be able to find us in many more locations online. You can follow us now on Facebook and Instagram, but we will soon be offering shopping options on those platforms. We are continually adding more platforms, inventory, and additional employees to meet the needs of both our local customers as well as those online.
