Lyons Valley Road is one of my all time favorites in the San Diego area. This road stretches 17.6 miles and is complimented by both Highway 94 and Otay Lakes Road. This allows you to add in Lyons Valley Road to either location.
Lyons Valley Road has some blind turns and speeds drop down to 25 MPH. I would rate this a 3 out of 5 in terms of difficulty.
The roadway is extremely well maintained and It can be ridden year round.
