Crystal Beach allows you to drive and ride motorcycles on the beach. You also can camp right on the beach as long as you purchase a parking sticker. If you have never motorcycle camped on a beach before, this is a great location to do it.
Beach Camping And Campfires
Crystal Beach & Bolivar Peninsula Camping on Bolivar Camping is allowed anywhere on the 27 miles of beaches of Crystal Beach and Bolivar Peninsula. You can drive the beach and pick a spot to set up camp. Campfires are allowed. There are restroom facilities and rinse-off showers at the new Bolivar Beach Pavilion on Crystal Beach Road (behind the Fire Station) and there are public restrooms at The Big Store. In addition, there are porta-potties up and down the peninsula. There are no public showers on Bolivar. Trash containers are available.
Parking Sticker
All Vehicles parked on beach must display a Bolivar Beach Parking Sticker. You can get a beach parking sticker here – https://www.crystalbeach.com/BeachSticker/parkingCB.htm Alternatively after March 1, you can purchase a parking sticker at many of the local stores.
Crystal Beach is the most popular area frequented by tent campers and RVs. It is closest to stores and restaurants, however, the area can be very crowded on summer weekends.
